I can't believe this, he died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. The actor was only 57. After hearing of his death last night, I just want to watch Dirty Dancing and Road House, I never did see Ghost, or not that I remember of, anyway.

I don't have Dirty Dancing on dvd so I'm gonna download it. I am gutted but hadn't got upset about it until watching the news earlier. They played a clip of that scene and then it skipped to where he and Baby do the lift, and I cried. Quite ridiculous.
It's pretty sad, though

I know, I think I drooled a lot when he'd start dancing or doing other things

I'm very sad about that, but honestly he was never one of my fav. actors. I mean if someone asked me to make a list of my top ten fav. actors he wouldn't make it.
That's not to say I didn't dig the dude. I loved DD, Ghost, Point Break, etc.
The guy did a great job acting, but just didn't do it for me like other actors do.
It's still a huge loss to the industry and to the general public as well. |
